The ladies issue opened the door for us to see how many women love our paper we got amazing responses and feedback and of course some good old fashioned controversy. Now we are back with the man cave and summer issue with a mentor of mine Mr. Colin Hunter "on the cover", owner of Sunwing airlines and the Jazz Crooner. 4AM NEWS had the pleasure of visiting Los Cabos Mexico to write our June paper. This is true with the recent and historic 100 million dollar property sale of George Clooney, Cindy Crawford’s and husband Rande Gerber vacation mansions in Los Cabos, Mexico. George Clooney along with close friend and business partner Rande Gerber and his wife, Cindy Crawford, all built their vacation dream homes side by side calling them “Casamigos” (aka House of Friends).

This magnificent natural rock formation at the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula, marks the start of Land’s End, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. El Arco is like the gateway to the ocean and has a majestic appearance reminiscent of another world. The arch has been carved over time from rough waves and the waters. This part of the Baja Peninsula, also known as Land’s End. You can visit the Lovers Beach, see the sea lions on the rocks, sail on a glass-bottom boat and even swim with the tropical fish like Nemo. Here you can look out to the sea and imagine how pirates roamed this area in the 1500s waiting to steal gold from the incoming Spanish ships. Between December and March, watch whales as they migrate from the cold Arctic to the warmth of the Baja Peninsula.

Both George and Rande fell in love with their Los Cabos Oceanside lots while traveling together in Mexico and decided to build their dream vacation homes there. Casamigos were designed by Ricardo Legorreta, one of Mexico’s famed architects, and his son, Víctor is breathtaking. What’s the next new estate of George, Cindy, and Rande’s is yet to be seen. He quietly pursued his music independently and got more success with Gold dance and club rap hit “Whatta Night” in Canada. Now one of the more popular promoters on the San Lucas, Los Cabo strip. Ricky is also hosting some of the biggest private houses and

"Magic" has a different spin on life living in the East Cape Shipwrecks desert, in complete peace. Here’s what he had to say when we tracked him down in the hot desert of Mexico. How did you come up with the idea for the full moon party? Since I was a kid, back in Poland I always celebrated the full moon by having a big bonfire with a bunch of friends, older guys playing musical instruments and we all stare at the Moon. When I came to Baja Mexico it all started on the beach in Shipwreck and Arroyo with electronic and other styles of music hosting bands with fire dancers, hula hoops and dancing through the night until sunrise. The best month for full moon? It’s not any particular month, but from November to May the moon is special. Shot in the Arroyo located in the East Cape desert of Cabos Mexico. The video was shot by the All Good Dayz film company and was no easy task. Sasha arrived in Mexico and by sunset she was in a remote desert house being made up and costumed into Calafia the warrior Queen. With beautiful strong female dancers, Sasha performs Belly Dancer flawless and is entertained by her very own Belly Dancing Fire dancers. Sasha changes from the darker side and embraces her true inner desires by transforming into a new blessed Queen wearing white and being free to live in the desert land. Belly dancing originates back to Algeria, the desert and Gypsy wined dancing shaking their hips and moving their bellies . Most Belly dancers were a bit thicker too not skinny women thick was regarded as healthy in these times. Women tattooed their faces for beauty and this is where all the concepts came about. Nothing was by fluke all was meant to be says Sasha with the Belly Dancer shoot. California is named after Queen Calafia I

magine a kingdom of Black women living on the mythical Island of California in what is now called the Baja De Califerne. The name of Calafia was formed from the Arabic word Khalifa (religious state leader) which is known as caliph in English and Califa in Spanish. The character of the Queen Calafia was first introduced the popular novel Las sergas De Esplandián (The Adventures of Esplandián), written around 1500 by the original said Spanish author Garcia Rodríguez De Montalvo. Calafia was convinced to raise an army of women warriors and sail away from California with a large flock of trained griffins to join a Muslim battle against Christians who were defending Constantinople. Calafia is bested and taken prisoner, and she converted to Christianity. She married a

cousin of Esplandián and returned with her army to California. oissonnade, Dean of Literature at the University of Poitiers, wrote that a fortified capital city in 11th century Algeria was built and defended by the Beni-Iferne tribe of the Berber people. This city was called Kalaa-Iferne or Kal-Iferne by the Arabs, and was certainly known at the time in Spain; today it is the ruins known as BeniHammad Fort. The Arab name of this fortress city likely inspired Roland and later Rodríguez De Montalvo, such that Kal-Iferne became first Califerne and then California. 4AM NEWS sat down with the owner Anne at Cafe Zephyr for an amazing lesson on food. She explained what's organic and what's not. Stephen, her husband owns a fresh and organic farm that supplies alot of the Cafe's produce. This cafe is spacious high ceilings with a really hip and artistic, abstract building design. 4AM NEWS: asked Anne what her cafe's ingredients were for their success. Anne: We tell you what is organic and what is natural in our dishes. We don't say it's organic when it's pure. His daughter has been active since she could stand and she like many others are the next generation of breakers that DKC is focusing on these days. His work is all about giving back and helping the youth to build solid foundations, “Dance is a tool to help all this DKC says”. Teaching the next generation about solid brick laying he believes will ensure a strong breaking community. DKC still breaks today his crew called Flow Rock. Just like back in the day with his old crew New Energy winning “Breakdance 84” the battles today are just as fierce and crazy. He prepares his new generation as if it was his own, he’s more than a teacher and coach he is the real deal big brother in the world of break dancing for to the kids still looking to break from their hearts.
