Being diagnosed with cancer is overwhelming. It puts a strain on patients and their families mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially.
It can be challenging to process and interpret all the information provided at appointments. In that moment it can be difficult for a patient to synthesize their thoughts to ask questions that can better help them understand their diagnosis and the physicians recommendations. Preparing a list of questions prior to your appointments can be very helpful. Often patients are not sure where to start and what to ask.
