Opo Gulo is a web3 society made up of 4000 uniquely named identities split into 8 self governed community factions of 500 members

Each identity's faction is determined by its 1/1 appearance, 1/1 name, and 1/8 species character traits

To participate, entrants must claim an identity by minting an Opo Gulo NFT - just by holding, subjects are automatically competing in the league and assigned to a faction. ‘The Unruly Battle of Opo Gulo!’ The battle takes shape in a 6 month league that will pit all 8 factions against each other in a winner takes all bid to achieve Golden Opo status

Golden Opo status will be granted to all 500 members of the winning faction. Whatever faction tops the league after 6 months, wins. Simple!

So, what determines your faction's position in the league…?

Floor price. As the mint is free the floor price starts at 0 for all factions, in order to gain places in the league members must coordinate and cooperate within their factions to raise its floor price.

How members navigate and strategize this is completely in their own hands, Each faction operates as an independent localized democracy within the Opo Gulo society – self-governed, modded, and owned by its members.

Just in case you missed it…‘Help’ comes in the form of monthly dips into the web2 stack for off chain MMO/Metaverse private server gaming tournaments hosted in the Opo Gulo Discord Server, with prizes awarded to both winning factions and individuals

Using discord to bridge between stacks for a flexibility that utilizes pre-existing metaverses and unlocks capabilities not yet available on web3, providing an environment community holders are already familiar with, more importantly allowing for participation for all holders to be involved

As teamwork is key and communication within and between factions is essential, identities will have access to both public and private channels within the Opo Gulo Discord server. The public channels being made available to all identities (4000) and the private channels being restricted to faction specific identities only (500)

Identities will use these private text and voice discord channels to discuss monthly tournaments, games, tactics, marketing, recruitments, raids, floor, weather, ye vs skete etc.

The Tokenomics in place are designed to reward the leading factions along the way. A 20% sell tax is split between 10% to dev wallet and 10% to prize pool. Each month 10% of monthly volume will be distributed among members of the leading faction

The Unruly Battle of Opo Gulo is run exclusively on participation and community. A social experiment league utilizing selfsustaining NFT utility, ownership and competition unlike anything seen before. Please only claim your free NFT if you are willing and able to take part!

Access to Minecraft, GTAV/ Fivem, Rust and other off chain servers and MMO metaverses is encouraged but not essential! For now we will not be creating our own Metaverse, Just invading other
