NEWS BRIEFS

A new book by Yueh-Ching Chung, One Body, One Life Within your Control: A Symbolic Approach to Wellness, shares her symbiotic approach to total body wellness using Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine in her Purposeful Exercise System. Chung has been involved with movement-based activities such as sports and dance from a young age and knows how important it is to move her body with purpose.

The system comprises three programs; breath, nutrition and exercise, designed to help rebuild the fundamental focus on anatomy and kinesiology that may have been missed when they started participating in their chosen exercise or sport. Chung hopes that with this new-found knowledge and awareness, readers will understand how to use the right muscles and improve proper alignment using the correct technique. Chung says, “This program can be applied to any physical activity. Mastering these skills is a gratifying growing process that produces confidence and improved health.”
