Bright & Creamy Vodka Pasta Sauce

You might have taken a break from drinking but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a different way to use leftover liquor. A splash of vodka adds texture and flavour to this simple pasta sauce.

INGREDIENTS:

• ½ cup butter,

• 1 small onion,

• ½ cup vodka,

• ½ cup tomato paste,

• ½ cup heavy cream

1. Dice the onion.

2. Saute the onion in butter until browned.

3. Add in vodka and cook for 10 minutes

4. Add in tomato paste then heavy cream and cook for 30 minutes.

5. Serve with your favourite pasta
