Lago Awe, Escocia/ Loch Awe, Scotland Sin duda uno de los grandes atractivos del país escocés, son sus castillos, o lo que queda de ellos. Es una muestra convulsa de su pasado y el de esta imagen, aparece siempre como símbolo escocés, pero curiosamente, casi nunca está en los folletos turísticos. La visita a Kilchurn Castle, fue casi una promesa. Llegue al lugar al anochecer, lloviendo y así continuo la mañana siguiente. Decidido cruce con todo el equipo un prado, que más parecía una ciénaga, para aposentarme a las orillas del lago, a la espera de un milagro. El cielo se abrió, con una luz increíble que plasmo solo unos minutos la magia del lugar, suficiente para capturar uno de los entornos más bellos y solitarios de Escocia.

Without a doubt, one of the greatest attractions of Scotland are its castles, or at least their remains. As a witness of a period of upheaval, this image results iconic, but it’s never found in touristic books or brochures. The visit to Kilchurn Castle was almost a pilgrimage. I got there at dusk, it was raining that day and the day after. I decided to cross a field, more like a bog, with all my equipment to put myself at the shore of the lake, waiting for a miracle. The sky opened up with an incredible light that illuminated the magic place only for a minute, enough to shoot one of the most beautiful and lonely spots in Scotland.
