Game Day in Morgantown

Fans throughout the state and the Mountaineer Maniacs come out to cheer on the Old Gold and Blue. Mountaineer fans pack the stands to be the extra man, knowing their voice makes a difference. The atmosphere is unmatched across the country and the playing of “take me home, country roads,” ends the match by celebrating another Mountaineer victory. A record-crowd of 3,112 fans watched the Mountaineers face eventual national champion Texas inside the WVU Coliseum on Aug. 29, 2012.
