We are the Stasyshyn family and we came from Western Ukraine because of the war. We are very grateful to the people of England got their help and support. We are especially grateful for the English lessons in Wendover, for good communication and speaking practice, and for the good atmosphere.

We have made many friends here. We are happy to come here to study and relieve our stress from the war. There are nice and attentive teachers and we are very grateful to them for helping us. Our pronunciation has become better and we have learned how to pronounce words correctly. Lessons are fun and lively. from Odessa, Natalia is from Sumy and I am from Kyiv. My name is Ohya. We came to the UK and received amazing support from the British community.

We are learning English in Wendover on Wednesday evenings. It’s not only a great opportunity to improve our English, it’s also a nice relaxed atmosphere where we can meet with other Ukrainians.

We

I decided to go to classes because I’d like to know more about the values, history, and customs of the English people. I feel comfortable and calm in this class. It helps me forget about my fear. I am going to continue attending these English classes. We are very grateful to the English people for this opportunity. We are looking forward to going to Brighton with the English class as we have not had a holiday since the war started.
