RATE RELIEF Though the cash rate set by the Reserve Bank of Australia did not change this week, home owners on variable rate loans will still feel an easing in their repayments. As the rate was dropped by 0.25 per cent in May, most home owners will have their rates reduced this month.

It is understood the contract is for a couple of years however the family was under contract not to divulge how much the contract was worth. Alpino Gelato has featured at ‘MasterChef Live’ and is a member of the Marrickville Manufactures Association.

arrickville ice creamery, Alpino Gelato, a family-owned business for 58 years has just won a major contract to manufacture gelato for southern China’s province of Shenzhen. On Monday a celebration took place at the factory, which was attended by dignitaries including a representative from the O’Farrell Government, the President of Marrickville Chamber of Commerce and Councillor Morris Hanna.
Current ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ star Peter Everett was in attendance and was responsible for winning the company the contract. “I came across Alpino Gelato some time ago and decided to have some of their gelato. I thought it tasted great,” he said. “A couple of months ago, I received a phone call from someone I worked with in Australia 25 years ago who was looking for top quality gelato to import to China. The gentleman organised someone to come here and do a taste test. “I recommended a few places, and I brought them here last. They decided to go with Alpino Gelato because it’s all natural and has delicious
