VoyagesAfriq (VA) was adjudged Tourism Oriented Media of the Year – (Online) at the 2018 Ghana National Tourism Awards. The Pan-African Tourism Media company beat off competition from myjoyonline and citinewsroom to emerge winner of the category.

This brings to two, the number of top awards the company has notched within the past few months as it received the “Outstanding Africa Tourism Media” Award at the maiden Africa Tourism Leadership Awards held last year August. ONOMO HOTELS REMAIN ON Onomo Hotels, the fast growing 3 star group in Africa and already present in Dakar, Abidjan, Libreville, Bamako, Conakry, Lome, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Kigali, Rabat and Casablanca has confirmed that they are on course to open two more hotels this year. The first one will be in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, before later this year, Dar es Salaam-Tanzania will also follow. The latter is likely to become the group’s largest hotel yet. The company also confirmed to ATCNews that they are going ahead with the planned launch of their brand in Kampala-Uganda and also in Addis Ababa and Nairobi, among other locations in Anglophone Africa. The arrival in these respective cities will no doubt ruffle many A citation accompanying the award and signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Akwasi Agyeman read:
