The semi-custom HullVane® is an underwater wing specially developed for motor yachts between 10 and 20 meters with the aim ofreducing drag and increasing sailing comfort.
The stern wave energy is converted into forward thrust by the HullVane®.The wing profile generates an forward-angled lift force,resulting in extra speed.The stern wave is significantly reduced, leading to a quieter aft deck while cruising. In waves, the HullVane® dampens the pitching motions and therefore improves the comfort on board.The course stability is increased and the yacht becomes quieter because the propeller and the engine run at a lower rpm for the same speed.
