Unite and support the cancer community

UICC has a growing membership of 1,207 organisations in 172 countries as at end 2020, representing the world’s major cancer societies, ministries of health and patient groups as well as influential policy makers, researchers and experts in cancer prevention and control. UICC was able to increase its membership despite the COVID-19 pandemic and retained invaluable support from almost 60 partners. Together, UICC members and partners represent a worldwide movement that is focused on eliminating preventable cancer deaths and providing access to life-saving treatment and care to everyone, everywhere.

UICC develops long-term relationships with members and partners based on shared values and organisational objectives. This is underpinned by a belief that cancer control requires a multi-sector approach to ensure maximum impact, building on the strengths of the public and private sectors as well as civil society.
