Elettronica e automazione in Iran Attiva da 23 anni, La Marjan Tile di Isfahan (Iran) produce piastrelle in monocottura e, in misura minore, pavimentazioni industriali in gres porcellanato. Due stabilimenti, 250 dipendenti, un reparto R&S dedicato agli impasti e alla ricerca grafica, Marjan Tile è sempre stata più attenta alla qualità dei materiali che non alle grandi capacità produttive, e ora ha in programma l’ingresso nel segmento del porcellanato smaltato per il mercato residenziale, nonché il passaggio da produzioni in pasta rossa a quelle in pasta bianca. Hossein Kalbassi: Del nuovo investimento ci ha parlato Mr. Hossein Kalbassi, presidente dell’azienda, in occasione del recente Tecnargilla a Rimini.
CWR: When will the new line come into operation and what products will you manufacture? H. Kalbassi: We are planning to start up in the spring of 2015. We have begun installing the squaring, polishing and honing lines produced by BMR and here at Tecnargilla are in search of solutions for anti-stain treatment of surfaces. The new line will produce floor and wall tiles in a 60x120 cm size, which will subsequently be cut into strips. With this new product line, we will obviously need to make a big step forward in terms of design, so along with our existing collaborations we will start up new
CWR: Quando sarà operativa la nuova linea e quali prodotti fabbricherete? H. Kalbassi: Contiamo di avviarla nella primavera del 2015. Stiamo iniziando i montaggi della linea di squadratura, levigatura e lappatura prodotte da BMR e proprio qui a Tecnargilla siamo alla ricerca della soluzione per il trattamento antimacchia delle superfici. La nuova linea produrrà piastrelle da pavimento e rivestimento nel formato 60x120 cm, che poi taglieremo in listoni. Founded 23 years ago, Marjan Tile of Isfahan, Iran produces predominantly single-fired tiles along with a smaller quantity of industrial porcelain floor tiles. With its two factories, 250 employees and an R&D department specialising in ceramic bodies, glazes and graphic design, Marjan Tile has always been more focused on product quality than large production capacities. It is now planning to enter the residential glazed porcelain segment and to switch from red body to white body production. We met the company’s chairman, Mr. Hossein Kalbassi, during the recent exhibition Tecnargilla in Rimini and discussed the new investment.
