Iris Festival SAFE KIDS Adventureland

SAFE KIDS Sumter County, funded by the Tuomey Foundation, will sponsor the SAFE KIDS “Adventureland” on Saturday, May 27, during the Iris Festival. Adventureland is an educational safety fair located adjacent to the playground area of the Heath gardens. Adventureland is offered from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Available information will include tips for keeping safe at home, including safe sleep. Participants will also learn about the importance of child passenger safety and heat stroke information.

Informational displays will include Tandem Health Pediatrics, Tandem Health Obstetrics & Gynecology and Tandem Health Dental, Sumter OB, Prisma Health, Palmetto Tennis Center, Maternity Resource Diaper Pantry, Santee-Wateree Mental Health Center, and more. Local librarians will also read to the children.
