The last several years have been very challenging for the building industry. Supply and COVID issues have eased only slightly in some areas but now challenges have been compounded with inflation and higher interest rates. Inflation and rising interest rates have caused an ever-increasing concern with our builders to deliver customers a quality and affordable product.

In spite of these challenges, central Texas continues to thrive. The Temple area is considered one of the most affordable housing markets in the country. Buyers across the country are seeing the beauty and affordability of Central Texas. Businesses are also choosing to relocate or expand their businesses to our community. Temple Area Builders Association continues to work hard to prepare for this growth in a way that
