This Southern California band has had quite a history over the years. The band is the brainchild of Eric Lieberman with waitress turned singer, Alica Aragon. The band’s main mission is to bring love and harmony back into the world. This band has quite an interesting history that is worth checking out.

The musicians on the 11 song CD are: ALICIA ARAGONVocals; ERIC LIEBERMAN-Guitar, Leader; MIKE ‘SANDLEWOOD’ JONES-Bass; EDDIE CROFT-Sax; DAVE CASEL DE ORO-Sax; TARYN ‘T-BIRD’ DONATH-Drums and various other guest. The CD was Produced by Eric Lieberman and Engineered and Mixed by Roy Sliverstein and Mastered by Garrett Haines.

A WORLD WITHOUT SOUL kicks off this CD and I love the funky, soul feel to it. The brass in the band reminds me a bit of the Average White Band which is so great to hear. Turn this one up loud.

SOUL MEETING has a feeling of a church revival with a touch of a love song entwined. Listen closely to the lyrics and you might be able to relate to it.

DON’T LET ME BE MISUNDERSTOOD is really quite a treat and it would make The Animals and Nina Simone proud. This is the only cover song on the album and they , definitely, make it their song. You’ll have to give it a listen.

RONNIE is a tribute song to the late Ronnie Lane and there’s quite an epic story in the song. The song is an ‘up’ song considering it’s a tribute to one of the greats in the music world.

SANTA FE BOUND brings this quite impressive CD to an end. This is a pure country song which includes a sweet steel guitar and it will have you clapping your hands and stomping your feet.
