Marie Michelle Currie was born an identical twin November 30, 1959. She has been a recording artist for Capitol Records, a producer, an actor, a sculptor, a poet, but most importantly, a mother. She was honored to have Dale Evans use her poem ‘Into the Light’ in the written eulogy of her late husband, the legendary Roy Rogers. She was recently portrayed by Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough in the 2010 movie ‘The Runaways’ sparked by her twin sister, Cherie Currie’s book ‘Neon Angel’. Marie, a successful mortgage banker of 14 years ultimately decided the time had come to realize her dream and publish a book she had written many years ago entitled ‘The Narrow Road of Light.’ The book was derived from a single poem she had written during a spiritually challenging time, her divorce from legendary guitarist Steve Lukather of the famed group ‘TOTO.’ Her book is available at TheNarrowRoadOfLight.com. Marie and Steve have two children from their 13 year union, Cristina Marie and Trevor Lee Lukather.

Marie is the daughter of the late Marie Harmon, an actress, known for The El Paso Kid (1946), Night Time in Nevada (1948) and Springtime in Texas (1945). Her father, Don Currie, a decorated Marine and loving father. Her siblings include her twin sister Cherie of the famed all-girl band “The Runaways who also became an actress starring in ‘Foxes’ with Jody Foster, Parasite, Wavelength and Twilight Zone: The Movie and went on to marry Robert Hays of Airplane fame. Her older sister, Sondra Currie, has too many television appearances to mention, but is best known for her recent appearances in ‘The Hangover’ movies part I, II, and III. Her younger brother Don is the president of his own successful mortgage company “HighTechLending Inc.’, in which Marie worked for many years.

Today, Marie leads a quiet life in Las Vegas NV spending time with her children, restoring old treasures, making jewelry, building crosses, guitar art, and violins.
