Roma High School’s Patient Care Technician Program students learned several skills to help them prepare for a rewarding field in healthcare.

One of the skills they must learn for their certification exam is how to shave patients. Great job Gladiators!

South Texas College is accepting competitive proposals for the following:

The RGCGISD Athletic Department held several TEP sessions on June 2-3 that covered the Principles of CPR/ First Aid/ AED and also certified those participants by the American Health & Safety Institute. Those in attendance worked with infant, child, and adult hands on scenarios which included the coaching staff who coach UIL sanctioned sports at GMS, RMS, VMS, RHS and GHS. UIL mandates certification or recertification for every athletic coach every two years. RGCGISD thank Regina Dorfmeister for an excellent presentation preparing the staff for emergency scenarios to assist student athletes during the athletic seasons in 2023-2024.

Request for Proposals packages may be obtained at the Purchasing Department located at 3200 W. Pecan Blvd, Bldg N, Ste 145, McAllen, TX 78501 (Corner of Quince & 31st Street) or by calling 956-872-4681. Responses received after the specified time and date will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Facsimile responses will not be accepted. All responses must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Responses need to be clearly marked on the envelope with the RFP number.

The successful respondent will not be determined on opening date.
