A MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

Welcome to St. Anne’s School (SAS). I am elated by the opportunity to create a legacy of student leaders who will be instrumental in the development of St. Anne’s. Like the founding class of SAS, Cygnets joining us in 2023 will soar to new heights as programming evolves on the main campus. What an extraordinary opportunity to explore, learn, and grow in a magical facility with state-of-the-art spaces, but more so, with a team of educators passionate about connection, community, and innovative learning and teaching models. We look forward to widely opening our doors to the incoming group of students at 306 St. John’s Sideroad; we can’t wait!

The First Cygnets played a pivotal role in developing the school’s mission, vision, and values and have shaped many start-up traditions which have begun to forge the path for young women and create a lasting legacy. I look forward to the passion, energy, and intellect our newest Cygnets will bring to the corridors of SAS as they collaborate, connect, and support each other in their first year.

The Parent & Student Handbook serves as a resource for our community. It highlights information about the school's daily operations, the standards by which we hold students accountable, and points to programmatic features unique to SAS. The following pages summarize the school’s guidelines as we prepare to welcome Grades 5 to 10 next fall.

Following a review of this important document, please complete the following forms in the SAS Parent Portal: • A Contract with Parents & Students • Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk

Whatever the personal or cultural values of families or students, a student's registration at SAS signifies their agreement and obligation to comply with the rules and disciplinary procedures published in the most recent edition of the Parent & Student Handbook.

Please read the entire handbook with your daughter.

As we develop the systems that will become part of the structure of SAS, the rules and regulations will often be referred to by the school’s administration, teachers, and advisors. These expectations will be reinforced at community events such as weekly assemblies and advisory sessions. These will become part of the fabric of all things SAS.

Collectively, we will all be part of an extraordinary voyage as we set out to further evolve the foundation for SAS. I am confident the year ahead will be full of promise and opportunity, unlike anything else your daughter has experienced.

I eagerly anticipate welcoming you to St. Anne’s School next fall.

Sincerely,

Sabrina D’Angelo Head of School
