Table for Two

A new year begins at sisterMAG and we have many fresh ideas for features and series in our magazine.

One idea that we are beginning with sisterMAG N°17 is the »Table of the Month« series. Here we will highlight stylists, calligraphers and florists and want to give them the opportunity to showcase their work. The first table was styled by sisterMAG's own Sandra Rothfeld. Florist Hürriyet Bulan from Botanic Art andcalligrapher Jeannette Mokosch joined her on this project.

We are searching for stylists, florists and creative minds who want to style the next »Table of the Month«. You can apply by sending an email to mail@ sister-mag.com with a portfolio link and we'll get in contact about the theme and details!

All papergoods were done by Jeannette Mokosch, a calligrapher from Germany.

You can also order your own personalised lettering pieces in the style of her handwritten font.

For our first »Table of the Month« we asked our good friend Hürriyet Bulan to style the centre bouquet. You can read more about her in our business women feature on page 340 }. For our little table she created a wonderful floral design in Orange and White with narcissus, deep orange tulips and frittillaria – a species of bulbous plants in the family Lilaceae.

The floral piece in a squared vase can easily be done at home. Maybe do it the night before because the flowers will look even nicer on the second day when in full blossom.
