At the festival you can look forward to some world-class concerts from Tommy Emmanuel, myself, and the very best of local guitarists at the Shetland Guitar Heroes concert. This year, I will also be running my famous Martin Taylor Guitar Retreat in Shetland, from 5-7 November. As well as this, you can soak up the atmosphere in the Festival Club on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in the Mareel Cafe Bar from 10pm-1am. As the Festival continues to evolve, it’s still dedicated to the memory of my good friend Peerie Willie Johnson. I’m already enjoying my first year curating the festival, and looking forward to the years ahead.
