Lee County Council on Aging Presents The Ark Encounter & Creation Museum Trip

Aug. 11-14, 2021 — 4 days and 3 nights Cost: Starting at $525, based on double occupancy; $50 deposit due upon sign-up to reserve a spot This trip includes a full day at the ARK ENCOUNTER. You will be amazed at the massive ARK structure itself, and the 3 floors of teaching exhibits and presentations. This trip also includes a full day at the CREATION MUSEUM, where the nearly 150 exhibits take you through biblical history. You can also enjoy the botanical gardens and the planetarium. This trip also includes a visit to the huge U.S. Air Force Museum, the world’s oldest and largest military aviation museum. Walk through the 360 aircraft and missiles, or take to the skies yourself in the Air Force Museum Simulator. Space is limited. Amplified phones and Bluetooth devices are available free of charge to those who have an already established (standard) land-line or cellular phone. This free program is governed by Illinois law and offered through the Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation (ITAC). To quality, you must complete an application, provide proof of Illinois residency, supply current bill or proof of pre-paid service, and be certified as hard of hearing.

LCCOA and WCSC are testing centers to apply and obtain an amplified device.
