This book contains research, criticism, and proposals towards the completion of a year-long thesis project on the topic of the American education system and its schools. The second phase of the project will be an architectural design proposal for a new public school.
This book was completed, start-to-finish, in five months. In the true spirit of a thesis project, this book uses hard research and evidence to pursue a naively ambitious agenda. I hope this book starts a conversation that I can continue for the rest of my career.
