“Often enough I have seen very successful German companies struggling when they tried to expand to Switzerland, there is a lot of pressure especially on executives”, says Hildegard Haas. Haas has her roots in Austria but grew up in Switzerland; for many years she worked together with decisionmakers from Germany. That makes her an expert in inter-cultural mediation. “Many times I have met managers who were eager to go back to their home country, because they struggled with their new surroundings.” The same goes for Swiss companies
