It all began with the participation at the Messe Frankfurt to present a table and chair collection. Cutting residues were used to create table decorations and enchanted the fair visitors. With this, the idea to work with felt was created, more or less by accident. After analysing the positive attributes of the material, the company started to work on some innovative designs. In 1999 the manufactory HEY-SIGN was founded and one year later the first collection was exclusively produced from wool felt.
