Lot 1854 British Solomon Islands, 1922-26 $200-$300 EF Uniface unissued note in the name James Burns, Normanton, Gulf of Carpentaria, Queensland. Serial No. A 1475, original note with some tone spots, hand stamped in leaving watermarked 'Queensland Stamp Duty - One Penny', unsigned with several pin holes, rare. Lot 1855 Bank of New South Wales, One Pound, 18-- $4000-$5000 EF Uniface specimen Ten Pounds, Queensland, no domicile, 18--, not numbered, no imprint 'specimen/C. SKIPPER & EAST' perforated at signature reserve (MVR 7c). Creases & folds with bottom left corner off, otherwise extremely fine. Lot 1862 Queensland Government, One Pound, 1898 $1200-$1500 EF Black & white printer proof on card, MVR.14, unsigned & unissued with handwritten date 'August 28th, 1899'. Glue adhesions to back of note otherwise extremely fine & rare.

Lot 1863 Queensland Government Collins/Allen, One Pound, 1910 $15000-$18000 Fair Superscribed issue on a Queensland Government, One Pound, Brisbane, 3rd January 1910, E/1 321566, superscribed serial A 532435 (R.S56(c)). Folds & creases, piece missing top left & bottom right, tears in borders, soiled, fair & excessively rare, only other known is in the Art Gallery of South Australia (MVR p31). Expertly repaired to a state of good fine, excessively rare, unique for this domicile.
