Exploring Water & Nature

Two natural wonders create miles of scenic coastline along the edge of Grant County. The Wisconsin River to the north and the Mississippi River to the west can provide hours of entertainment while tubing, kayaking, boating, fishing or swimming. From the riverfront to the backwaters, Grant County is filled with creeks and streams too - including over 100 miles of world class trout streams. Grant County is nestled between the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway and Upper Mississippi flyway - where youre sure to find a variety of animals on the land, in the trees or across the sky.
