Blundells Estate Agents have opened the doors to a new state-of-the-art premises on Hall Gate to serve as their Doncaster base for their 11 strong sales and lettings team.

The firm has moved from its premises at number 26 to adjoining offices at number 28, offering the same services as before in a fresh environment.

Doncaster Rovers defender, Bobby Faulkner, was on hand to perform the ceremonial ribbon cutting for the branch opening, when it officially opened its doors for the first time early in June this year.

For over 40 years, Blundells has been the trusted agent of choice for customers looking for property advice and services within Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield and Doncaster.

The new branch provides additional space for a growing team as well as the opportunity for future expansion.

The investment in the new premises reflects the business’s optimism in the Doncaster market and they have recently expanded the teams in both the sales and letting departments as well as adding an additional mortgage consultant based in the branch.

Commenting on the new branch, Sue Newstead, sales manager said: “It’s lovely for the team to be working in a modern new office but what is really exciting is it provides a fantastic space for us to promote our clients properties better than ever before.

“Our online presence is important but being able to have the welcoming environment for our customers to come in and discuss their requirements with us and to match buyers to our properties for sale is just brilliant. We are able to guide our buyers and sellers through the whole buying and selling process including being able to offer in house mortgage advice.”

As well as a first-class property sales service, the business also has an established lettings department. The team have already had a successful start to the year, advertising and letting more properties for their customers than the same period last year. Kath Moss, senior lettings valuer commented: “The lettings market shows no signs of slowing down and with tenant demand at record highs, coupled with a shortage of properties, we’re letting properties quicker than ever.
