Para el viajero curioso que quiera descubrir nuevos paisajes, le proponemos conocer estas tierras mediante una ruta en coche de 50 km por el norte de Alicante.

Llegando por la costa nos recibe el Parque Natural del Marjal de Pego-Oliva, un humedal que se nutre de manantiales y de los ríos Bullent y Racons. Debido a la excelente calidad de sus aguas, en él se encuentran numerosas especies vegetales y animales de alto interés biológico. Es ideal para dar un paseo en bicicleta o a pie, recorriendo los campos de arroz. Ya en el casco antiguo de Pego disfrutaremos de la hospitalidad de sus habitantes, de su deliciosa gastronomía y de los museos de arte y del arroz e iglesias de obligada visita.

Luego seguimos nuestra ruta por la CV-700 hacia L’Atzúbia, donde veremos la iglesia de San Vicente Ferrer y, si avisamos con tiempo, entraremos en la Cueva del Canelobre (Tel. 965571358). En la pedanía de Forna visitaremos el castillo palacio con sus grafitis medievales (Tel. 636591508). Más adelante divisaremos la Penya Foradà que domina la Vall de Gallinera. Y recorreremos la Ruta de los 8 Pueblos: Benirrama, Benialí, Benissivà, Benitaia, La Carroja, Alpatró, Llombai y Benissili. Nos detendremos a admirar alguno de los abrigos de pinturas rupestres, declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco.

A continuación, seguimos por la CV712 hacia La Vall d’Alcalà. A nuestra derecha, desde la carretera, divisamos el bello pueblo de Beniaia, donde llama la atención el colorido de sus casas. Continuamos hacia Alcalà de la Jovada, lugar donde nació el caudillo Al-Azraq y combatió contra el Rey Jaume I de Aragón en el siglo XIII. Allí veremos varios despoblados moriscos, como el de L’Atzuvieta, y la Nevera de Baix, un pozo de nieve del siglo XVII. Después, en La Vall d’Ebo, nos adentraremos en la Cova del Rull, abierta al público, que destaca por sus estalagmitas y estalactitas. Aprovecha para comprar el embutido típico y hacer una pausa en alguno de sus cinco bares. Esta zona cuenta con una excelente oferta de alojamientos, restaurantes, hornos y

carnicerías. Su gastronomía se basa en los productos del terreno, como son el arroz, las naranjas, las cerezas y el aceite. No dejes de degustar los “figatells” y las “cocas”.

Su gran atractivo es la belleza paisajística de sus montañas. Disfrútala paso a paso, a través de su amplia red de senderos, con diferentes niveles de dificultad que permiten la práctica del senderismo tanto si eres aficionado como experto.

If you are keen on discovering new places, we suggest you a 50 km route by car around the North of Alicante to discover our landscapes.

When arriving by the coast, you will be received by the Parque Natural del Marjal de Pego-Oliva, a marsh fed by springs and the Bullent and Racons rivers. The superb quality of the water allows a wide variety of flora and fauna of great biological interest. It is the perfect place for a walk or a bike ride around the rice fields.

In Pego’s old town you will experience the hospitality of its inhabitants. You will discover its delicious gastronomy, art and rice museums and different churches as well, all of them a must-see.

Then you will drive along the CV-700 road towards L’Atzúbia. There you can visit the San Vicente Ferrer church and, if booked beforehand, the Canelobre cave (Tel. 965571358). In the district of Forna you can visit its castle-palace, known for its medieval graffities (Tel. 636591508). Later on, you will see the Penya Foradà, which dominates Vall de Gallinera. You can also go over the Route of the 8 Villages: Benirrama, Benialí, Benissivà, Benitaia, La Carroja, Alpatró, Llombai and Benissili. And do not forget to stop by and admire some of the cave paintings in the area, declared World Heritage by Unesco. You will continue next along the CV-712 road towards La Vall d’Alcalà. To your right, from the road, you will see Beniaia’s village, which stands out for its colourful houses. Then you will get to Alcalà de la Jovada, the place where the commander Al-Azraq was born and fought against the king Jaume I of Aragón in the 13th century. There you will see some abandoned morisco villages such as L’Atzuvieta, and La Nevera de Baix, a snow well dating from the 17th century. Afterwards, in La Vall d’Ebo, you will get inside the Cova del Rull, a cave open to the public known for its stalagmites and stalactites. Remember to buy some of the typical cured dry sausages and to stop by in any of its five bars. This area has excellent accommodations, restaurants, bakeries and butcher’s on offer. Its gastronomy is mainly based on land products such as rice, oranges, cherries and olive oil. Do not miss the chance to savour “figatells” and “cocas”. The beauty of the mountains that shape the landscape of the area is very appealing. Delight yourself with the views hiking through its wide trail network, with different levels of difficulty that allow the practice of hiking whether you are and amateur or an expert.

Любознательному путешественнику, желающему открыть для себя новые уголки радушной Испании, предлагаем ознакомиться с этими местами по маршруту на авто, ведущему нас на север от Аликанте. Проезжая по побережью, глазу туриста открывается парк- заповедник. Marjal de Pego - Oliva (Мархал де Пего- Олива), где можно увидеть водоём, орошаемый реками Bullent и Racons (Буент и Раконс), а также рисовые поля. Благодаря своим чистым водам, это самое большое и известное место во всем Средиземноморье своим биоразнообразием, являясь богатой территорией. произрастания и обитания различных видов флоры и фауны. Прогулка по рисовым полям может быть отличным времяпровождением, как на велосипеде так и пешком.

В уютном Pego мы задержимся, наслаждаясь прогулкой по улочкам, которые до сих пор хранят первоначальный средневековый вид, с его гостеприимными жителями и домашней кухней, а также разнообразными музеями, начиная от этнологического музея, где вашему взору предоставляется выращивание риса и традиционных промыслов, до дома искусств, где располагается музей современного искусства. Не пропустите известные церквушки этого посёлка. Далее держим путь по обычно местному маршруту CV- 700 до L’Altzubia, где остановимся для посещения церкви San Vicente Ferrer, а также пещеры Canalobres (предупредив заранее 965571358), нельзя не заглянуть в расположенный на высоком холме замок Forna, средневековую крепость, прекрасно сохранившуюся до наших дней и известную своими росписями. Далее созерцаем скалу la Penya Forada, которая занимает большую площадь долины la Vall de Gallinera. А также навестить 8 деревушек: Benirrama, Benialí, Benissivà, Benitaia, La Carroja, Alpatró, Llombai, Benissili. Здесь же нашему взору открывается наскальные рисунки, занесённые ЮНЕСКО в мировое культурное достояние. Продолжаем наш маршрут по CV712 до долины La Vall d’Alcalà, справа располагается восхитительный посёлок Beniaia, привлекающий наше внимание яркой и веселой раскраской жилых домов. Далее продвигаемся до Alcalà de la Jovada, место, где родился лидер AlAlzrag и сражался с королем Арагона Jaume 1 в XIII веке. Там же мы наблюдаем опустевшие маврские поселения L’Atzuvieta и la Nevera de Baix, снежный колодец XVII века. В долине La Vall d’Ebo посетим пещеру la Cova del Rull с бесплатным входом, известную своё коллекцией сталактитов и сталагмитов. Передохнув немного, воспользуемся случаем, купив домашнюю колбасу и посетив один из пяти местных баров. Эта зона славится своим недорогим проживанием, а также ресторанами с домашнего традиционно средиземноморской кухней, мясными лавками и выпечками. Рис, масло оливковое, апельсинным черешни этих мест славятся по всей Марине Альта. Воспользуйтесь случаем продегустировать местного приготовления кокас и фигатейс. Красота горных ландшафтов- главная достопримечательность этих мест, она манит не только профессионалов, но и любителей пеших прогулок разной сложности.
