Sporting Equipment

If it is properly packed or placed in designated luggage, sporting equipment is recognized as free checked baggage. Excess baggage costs will be charged in accordance with Saudia’s baggage policy if the weight and/or dimensions are greater than the usual free baggage allowance. Onboard Boeing B777 and B787 aircraft, sporting equipment that is larger than the permitted size is acceptable. Saudia will impose an additional price for athletic equipment with a maximum size of 300 cm (118 inches) in addition to the oversized fee: $67 for international flights (a total excessive cost of $100 plus $67 equals $167).

Domestic flights: 100 SAR (a total of 200 SAR will be charged for the large item).
