Like the Champions Award honorees that we celebrate, our students are courageous in their choice to pursue higher education. They invest their time, energy and passion in a vision for something others may not have thought to be possible, and they persist through challenges and doubts along the way to successfully turn that vision into a new reality. The impact of this courage extends far beyond themselves, creating life-changing opportunities for a new generation and inspiring others to be courageous as well.

I am honored to join our exemplary Champions honorees, our excellent faculty, dedicated staff, key stakeholders, and committed philanthropic partners to ensure excellent and equitable life outcomes for our amazing students, our incredible alumni, and our community as a whole. It is our collective courage that will turn this bold vision into reality for our region and elevate us all.
