ceppo

Our Ceppo range captures the full elegance and beauty of one of Italy’s most iconic stones: Ceppo di Gré. Quarried on the slopes of Monte Clemo near Bergamo, Italy, Ceppo di Gré is sedimentary dolomitic breccia, featuring pebbles of blue-grey stone set in a matrix of paler and warmer greys. Highly resistant to abrasion, this natural stone has been used in many public projects, such as Munich’s subway and Cologne’s cathedral square.

The natural conglomerate look of this rock is accurately reproduced in our Ceppo range that features broken mineral fragments cemented together in a fine-grained base. Visually authentic, and sustainable, this porcelain tile allows homeowners and designers to showcase this stunning stone-effect indoors and then carry it seamlessly outside.

Ceppo comes in three versatile shades –bianco, grigio, and farge - that start pale and get progressively darker. Each of the three colours is offered in a random mix of different faces, resulting in a very natural and organic appearance. With a myriad of greys stacked tone upon tone, these three designs can co-ordinate with a range of different colour schemes, either as a base or an accent, while the natural and structured finish makes it the ideal inside-out solution.
