En cada edición, BOGOSHORTS al tablero ofrece espacios de formación a nuevos y futuros realizadores, así como a todos aquellos interesados en el cine y, sobre todo, en los formatos cortos. Ponemos en diálogo hitos y acontecimientos históricos con el momento actual. Esta vez ofrecemos al público un conjunto de charlas alrededor de varios de nuestros programas especiales, pero también otras que pretenden atender algunas necesidades del sector.

El 2022 es el año de la luz y BOGOSHORTS celebra con gran entusiasmo dos décadas de trabajo por el formato corto en Colombia, consolidando año tras año no solamente el amor por el más pequeño de la familia, sino por el cine y la ciudad, escenarios simbólicos y físicos donde la esperanza, creemos hoy, puede brillar con total intensidad e iluminar los lugares más oscuros.

En esta edición de BOGOSHORTS Al tablero, queremos que el público pueda escuchar a algunos de nuestros invitados especiales. Una clase magistral y dos páneles conforman parte de esta oferta que profundizará en nuestros intereses al traer desde Indonesia una significativa comitiva de programadores y realizadores de ese país, al tiempo que auguramos el gran futuro del corto colombiano con el programa Destellos; nos sumamos a la celebración de una década de Evidencia Films y para eso hemos invitado a su director Franco Lolli a compartir su experiencia con nuestros asistentes, y también nos hemos propuesto reflexionar en conjunto con el Festival Internacional de Cine en Morelia (FICM) y el Vancouver Latin American Film Festival (VLAFF) sobre las implicaciones de trabajar dos décadas en contextos tan diferentes pero con objetivos en alguna medida similares a favor del cine.

También queremos ofrecer a nóveles realizadores y profesionales con trayectoria mayores herramientas para la distribución de sus futuros cortometrajes, gracias a la experiencia de la guionista y realizadora norteamericana Clarissa Jacobson, y hacer énfasis en una relación que no siempre es evidente, pero es incluso sustancial para el futuro de las obras realizadas: el diseño gráfico en el cine, una clase magistral impartida por Juan Esteban Duque, de la reconocida empresa de diseño Motiff.

Estos espacios conforman, así, una gran oportunidad para quienes buscan en los festivales de cine alguna guía para saber cómo afrontar sus propios proyectos y acercarse a los distintos actores de la larga cadena que constituye la industria audiovisual del país y del mundo.

Finalmente, los Encuentros Cercanos llegarán a las distintas salas de la Cinemateca de Bogotá, la plazoleta de CityU y la Alianza Francesa, mientras que nuestra programación académica, abierta a todo público, se desarrollará enteramente en la Sala Capital de la Cinemateca de Bogotá, con acceso prioritario para personas acreditadas y con transmisión en vivo a través de la página de Facebook de @bogoshorts. In each edition, BOGOSHORTS to the Board offers training spaces to new and future filmmakers, as well as to all those interested in cinema and, above all, in short films. We put in dialogue milestones and historical events with the present time. This time we offer the audience several talks about our special programs, but also others that aim to meet some needs of the audiovisual field.

2022 is the year of light and BOGOSHORTS celebrates with great enthusiasm two decades of work for the short format in Colombia, consolidating year after year not only the love for the smallest of the family, but for the cinema and the city, symbolic and physical scenarios where hope, we believe today, can shine with full intensity and illuminate the darkest places.

In this edition of BOGOSHORTS to the Board, we want the audience to join our special guests. One master class and two roundtables are part of this offer that will deepen our interests by bringing from Indonesia a significant delegation of programmers and filmmakers from that country, while we predict the great future of the Colombian short film with the program Sparks. Also, we join in the celebration of a decade of Evidencia Films and for that we have invited its director Franco Lolli to share his experience with our attendees, and we want to reflect together with the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival (VLAFF) representatives on the implications of working two decades in such different contexts but with somewhat similar objectives in favor of cinema.

We also want to offer new filmmakers and professionals with a track record greater tools for the distribution of their future short films, thanks to the experience of the North American screenwriter and filmmaker Clarissa Jacobson, and to emphasize a relationship that is not always that simple, which is nevertheless substantial for the future of the films you make: graphic design in film, a master class given by Juan Esteban Duque, from the renowned design firm Motiff.

These spaces are thus a great opportunity for those who look to film festivals for guidance on how to approach their own projects and get closer to the different actors in the long chain that makes up the audiovisual industry in Colombia and the world.

Finally, the Encuentros Cercanos (Close Encounters) will be held in the different theaters of the Cinemateca de Bogotá, the CityU Outdoors Screen and the Alianza Francesa, while our academic program, open to the general public, will take place entirely in the Cinemateca de Bogotá’s Sala Capital, with priority access for accredited attendees and live streaming through the @bogoshorts Facebook page.
