MY MOTTO: is if you’re not making mistakes, you’re not taking risks, and that means you’re not going anywhere. The key is to make mistakes faster than the competition, so you have more chances to learn from and win.

I ADMIRE WOMEN WHO: go with their gut and trust themselves. I think it’s a mistake when women do not take risks nor go against the traditional norms of conformity. I say, let’s own who we are individually because that is where we find o r stren th.

I’VE LEARNED THE HARD WAY THAT:

I know what is best for my business. Yes, I ask a lot of questions, but ultimately I know what is the right answer for BEETTAN.

MY REAL JOB DESCRIPTION IS: an early mother who is still uncovering how strong I can become.

THE BEST BUSINESS ADVICE I RECEIVED: was do not follow where the path may lead, go where there is no path and leave a trail.

LEADERSHIP IS: not a person nor a position. It is a relationship between people based on trust, obligation, commitment, emotion and a shared vision of the good.

YOU’D NEVER GUESS THAT: I had a beet tattooed on my shoulder long before I knew that I would have a product made from beets. My son loved beets as a toddler, and years ago I put a heart-shaped beet there for him.
