Mindanao heat index hitting ‘danger’ levels

THE state weather bureau reiterated on Monday, May 15, earlier “extreme caution” and “danger” warnings due to rising heat index levels, ranging from 39 to 49 degrees centigrade, in at least nine areas in Mindanao and elsewhere in the country.
