• A World Premiere musical commissioned by Milwaukee Rep about Milwaukee’s infamous femme fatale, Run Bambi Run.

• The Quadracci Powerhouse season also features the classic mystery Dial M for Murder; two celebrated adaptations - Louisa May Alcott’s endearing Little Women and Chaim Potok’s The Chosen. Closing the season will be Nina Simone: Four Women, a play with music recalling events that shifted Simone’s career from artist to activist.

• The Stiemke Studio season includes a World Premiere by Idris Goodwin and the Pulitzer Prize Finalist play What the Constitution Means to Me.

• The Stackner Cabaret features four blockbuster shows including: Country Sunshine: The Legendary Ladies of Nashville With Katie Deal, featuring songs from the Queens of country music; Nuncrackers, our favorite nuns return to film their first TV special filled with songs and hijinks. The 25th Anniversary of Guys on Ice followed by Piano Men 2, a smash hit with audiences, in which no two performances are the same as our dueling pianists take requests live!

• The 48th Anniversary production of Milwaukee’s Favorite Holiday Tradition – A Christmas Carol.

Saran Bakari

Ruby

Saran is a native of Washington, D.C. She attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts SHS and is a 2020 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama (CMU). Immediately upon graduating from CMU, she appeared in the Doordash/ Sesame Street, 2021 Super Bowl commercial. She made her Chicago stage debut at the Goodman Theatre, alongside her older sister, Ayanna. She later debuted at Third Avenue Playworks Door County. Saran is proudly represented by Stewart Talent. Bryant Bentley

Red Carter

This is Bryant’s Debut at Milwaukee Rep. You may have seen Bryant in Renaissance Theaterworks 2023 Production of Cost Of Living. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Resides in Columbus, Ohio. Some theater credits include: Between Riverside and Crazy, A Soldiers Play, Master Harold And The Boys, Detroit 67, Pipeline, A Raisin In The Sun, Most Valuable Player, Blues For An Alabama Sky, 5 Guys Named Moe, The Piano Lesson, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Gem of the Ocean, Jitney, Two Trains Running, and Fences TV/ film credits: The Public, A League Of Their Own, Sprung, Mayor Of Kingstown, A Rose For Her Grave, Lee Daniel’s horror film The Deliverance and a LeBron James film Shooting Stars- releasing in 2023.

Kierra Bunch

Kierra is thrilled to be making her Milwaukee Rep debut. She was recently seen working with Chicago Shakespeare Theater in Measure for Measure, Court Theatre’s Two Trains Running (Jeff Nominated), Definition Theatre’s White (Jeff Nomination/Performer in a Principle Role), and Windy City Playhouse’s production of Recipe For Disaster. She has appeared in Court Theatre’s King Hedley II (Jeff Nomination/ Performer in Supporting Role) Windy City Playhouse’s Southern Gothic, and Lookingglass Theatre’s Plantation. She had the honor to work with many other notable theater companies in Chicago including Urban Theater Company, Black Ensemble Theater and ETA Theater (Black Theater Alliance Awards Nomination for Best New Actress and Best Performance in an Ensemble). She can currently be seen recurring on the new sitcom, Southside on HBO Max. She’s performed on Shameless, Chicago Med and FOX’s Empire. She was a series regular on the Emmy Award winning children’s television show, Green Screen Adventures. Kierra is very thankful for her family and friends to help her embark on this journey. Marsha is a Chicago based actress and playwright. Regional Credits, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Virginia Stage Company, Legacy Land, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, First Breeze of Summer - Court Theatre, Blues for an Alabama Sky, Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Favorite Chicago Theatre credits - My Other Full Time JobErasing the Distance Theatre, East Texas Hot links, Onyx Theatre Ensemble, Sty of the blind pig, Onyx Theatre Ensemble, Coffee will make you Black, City Lit Theatre, and her solo show Big Butt Girls and other Fantasies the Remix!” was performed in Chicago, Detroit, New York and Los Angeles. TV Credits: Chicago P.D. (NBC), South Side (HBO MAX), Proven Innocent (FOX), and Electric Dreams (AMAZON). As a playwright, she is a recipient of the Illinois Art Council Fellowship for playwriting. Recently, she received a 3ARTs project match for her short film Black Girl in Bathtub (coming soon). She is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA

Dimonte Henning Floyd “Schoolboy” Barton

Dimonte is grateful to be part of Seven Guitars. Dimonte received his formal theater training from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with additional training from Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s Emerging Professional Residency (2015/2016 Season). He is a Founding Member of the Milwaukee Black Theater Festival and performing arts organization Lights! Camera! Soul!. Dimonte’s favorite directing credits include: The Colored Museum, Black Nativity, Dutchman, The Niceties, and Pretty Fire

Dimonte’s regional theater credits include: Toni Stone (Alliance Theatre), Stick Fly (Writers Theater), The Island & Deathtrap (Milwaukee Chamber Theater), Skeleton Crew (Forward Theater Co.), Our Town, A Christmas Carol, & Dreamgirls (Milwaukee Repertory Theater), The Wiz & The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (First Stage). TV and commercial credits include: Guest starring roles on NBC’s Chicago PD (Seasons 4&6), Disney’s Encore!, UBER, Inpro Designs, and Harley-Davidson.

Vincent Jordan

Canewell

Vincent hails from Chicago, Illinois where his spark for acting started off at a young age. While honing his acting skills in the Asante Children’s Theatre in Indianapolis, he would later come back to Chicago to work with the Black Ensemble

Theater. It was there a star was born as he would make an appearance in numerous of shows including his lead role as Chuck Berry in Hail! Hail! Chuck Berry, and John Nevins Trouble in Mind at Timeline Theater. Vincent is also a Jeff Award-winner!! As his role of Maurice White (Earth, Wind, and Fire ) in You Can’t Fake the Funk Black Ensemble Theater.
