All breeds of dogs are welcome. Starting in January, cats will get their own day the third Monday of each month. Even rabbits get their nails trimmed here. Walk-in trims are welcome. Staff takes the time to get to know your pet and make them comfortable.

Everyone here is friendly and caring toward animals. The staff is knowledgeable and quick to research information. Volunteers spend hours daily tending to and visiting with the dogs and cats. An outdoor area allows the dogs to stretch their legs and get exercise. The process of adopting a pet is made easy and goes smoothly, with new owners well informed about caring for their family addition. Fundraisers are fun, community-oriented and entertaining for all ages.

Stuck at work all day and no time to play? Make sure your dog isn’t left home alone with nothing to do: Send them here for supervised play. Your best friend can learn and play with other dogs in either the Big Dog, Small Dog or Shy Dog play areas. They also can relax in a private suite with added amenities. Passwordprotected webcams allow owners to check in on their pooch during their visit.

Not quite at the river’s edge, this is a full-service hospital for small animals and horses, with 24-hour emergency care. Doctors have extensive experience in medicine and surgery. The center strives to provide the best care for furry family members, and continuing education is important to doctors and staff. Equine care can even include acupuncture. Medical and general boarding are available for small animals; multiple pets can be housed and fed together if requested.
