NEW MARKETING PLAN OF PALLACANESTRO CANTU PRESENTED AT VILLA LEONI

On May 9, in the charming location of Villa Leoni in Ossuccio, Pallacanestro Cantù presented its new marketing plan to sponsors and entrepreneurs in the area. It was a pleasant and interesting evening in which the basis for the club's new sports season was laid. After a greeting from Villa Leoni's owner Alessandro Galbiati, the event opened with a speech by the president of Pallacanestro Cantù, Roberto Allievi: "Cantù must always compete at the top and be recognized as a sports icon, opening up to the outside world. Many ambitious challenges await us, in a program of continuous growth, which we want to face together with our sponsors". This was followed by greetings from Antonio Biella, general manager of Acqua S.Bernardo; Antonio Munafò, founder of PGC; Joe Rizzello, general manager of ASM Global; and Michele Melis, area manager of new sponsor Staff Italia. The club's general manager, Alessandro Santoro, then described the 2023/2024 Marketing Plan in detail: "Our staff has developed a series of assessments over the past few months to draw up a defined plan useful for brand development, capitalizing on the strengths of our club and our territory. The goal is to increase relationships with sponsors, fans and the media. Broaden the base to broaden the consensus". Lastly, CFO and vice president Angelo Passeri described a number of new events in terms of acquiring new supporters. The presentation of the marketing plan coincided with the third appointment of "A team of partners," the project conceived by Pallacanestro Cantù for its sponsors with the intention of creating synergies even off the court through various initiatives organized during the season. Last November, in fact, the first event was held at Teatro San Teodoro, the club's Cultural Partner, while in the middle of February it was the corporate headquarters in Via Como that hosted the blue-and-white sponsors for a series of 1to1 meetings.
