LSU players have made their mark on the international level since the program restarted in 1997, playing for various national teams across the globe.

Current LSU assistant coach Howard Dobson has served as an assistant coach for Team USA for nine years.

Savannah Jaquish and Carley Hoover have both played a part on the USA Softball level, while Shemiah Sanchez has suited up for Puerto Rico. Amanda Sanchez has seen action with Mexico.

In 2018, Jaquish was named to the Women’s National team roster, while Carley Hoover was named to the Japan All-Star series roster. Both competed for Team USA, while Dobson was an assistant coach.

Jaquish and Dobson were a part of the team that qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Jaquish was named to the 2019 Women’s National Team.

Senior Amanda Doyle competed on the U.S. Women’s National Team Training squad, vying for a spot on the JWNT.
