Held at Q’emiln Park in Post Falls, the annual Post Falls Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon is a USAT-sanctioned event and includes a 5k swim, 19k bike and 5k run. The race begins at 7am and is chip timed, and snacks and an award ceremony will follow the race. To register to participate (as an individual or a team), sign up to volunteer at the event, or to find additional details about the race, you can find everything you need online. Carnival rides, fair food, 4-H and FFA shows, and more, is what you’ll find at the North Idaho State Fair. PIG OUT IN THE PARK

Spokane’s favorite six-day food and free music festival returns August 30 through September 4. Held at Riverfront Park, celebrate the end of summer over Labor Day weekend with great food, fun and entertainment at Pig Out in the Park. The 2023 event will feature 50 foods booths, 250 menu items, 35 public market booths, 112 free concerts on four stages, and four adult beverage gardens. The fun takes place 11am to 10pm daily!
