Pistes-Solidaires

My Sending Organisation

Pistes-Solidaires is a not-for-profit NGO developing access to all types of mobility with one aim: to make professional experience abroad accessible to all.

Firstly, for volunteering, they rely on programmes such as the European Solidarity Corps or the Civic Service with an international focus. These mobilities are programmes financially supported by the European Commission (ESC) or the French Government (Civic Service). For these two programmes they have many offers throughout the year.

For internships, jobs or volunteering opportunities, they have created wanago.world: a unique service in France which brings together on the same site offers of internships, jobs or volunteering in many fields and many countries. Wanago.world gives access to information and good deals for any international internship. This service meets the expectations of students who need to do an internship abroad.

Finally, they have developed the Take Off device. It is aimed primarily at young people who have never experienced expatriation and wish to take a short-term view of it. Short-term means experiences of 1 or 2 months abroad.

My experience: Everything went pretty fast for me. I contacted Pistes-Solidaires in June and they sent me the Kane’s offer almost instantly. I had a videoconference scheduled in the beginning of July and I received a positive answer within a week. They accompanied me really well during the preparation and answered all of my questions. I feel well supervised during this experience.
