While the majority of her law practice centers on family law and criminal defense, Keri Haralson also does appellate work in the Jackson area. Admitted to practice law in 2005, Haralson also is a certified guardian ad litem and has represented inmates during regardless of their custodial classification across Mississippi. A former public defender for the Municipal and Youth courts in the City of Pearl, Haralson earned her law degree from the Mississippi College School of Law. While an undergraduate at MC, she studied abroad in Montpelier, France, and was a member of Sigma Tau Delta and Alpha Delta. Following her graduation from law school, Haralson worked as a law clerk to the former Chief Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court, the Honorable James Smith Jr. Haralson remains active in several legal organizations, including the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
