Hamish Brodie + Les Rosbif

8pm Hamish Brodie is 15 years old and is a singer-songwriter from Jersey. He starting singing and song-writing three years ago, when sadly his mother died. His performance will be a collection of songs which he has written over the last 3 years. They will be performed on piano, with some featuring synth and drum machine. Jersey band, Les Rosbif, will open the evening with a 45-minute set, with Hamish performing his set after the interval. Junior Drama

Communication, concentration and commitment are essential disciplines of exciting performance and these will be further explored and developed. Incorporating a multitude of fun drama activities and games, the workshops also develop social skills and confidence and culminating in a production for the public in the Summer Term 2022. Many of our Junior Drama members have gone on to join our award-winning youtheatre group; some of whom have then studied drama at college or university or worked professionally in the industry. Our popular Yoga course is back! Join Karen Le Mottee for a course that will continue you on your Yoga journey. This course will take you through meditation, breathing techniques, stretching, flexibility and gentle flows.

Taught in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, this course provides the perfect chance to bring some calm and relaxation to your day. This course is designed for those 45 years and over, but is open to all. Some specialised equipment will be provided, but participants will need to bring their own Yoga mat. There will also be modifications so that beginners can participate.

Lisa Oxenden-Wray, graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art will take you on a visual journey of the earliest known Lascaux Cave paintings through the Renaissance, the Dutch Golden Age and Impressionism to Surrealist Marcel Du Champs’ controversial “urinal” up to today’s New Artists, such as Damien Hirst. Join Lisa on her course for an informative and exciting journey through the history of art.
