It’s the weekend and time to hit the town, to go ‘out out’. Part gig, part theatre, and just in time for last orders, Lash takes us on a booze-fuelled adrenaline rush, through bustling streets and bouncing clubs, where big tunes and mad characters collide. It’s a post-Brexit, post-Covid epiphany on a youth, wasted in more ways than one.

Direct from the Edinburgh Fringe, this is the new play from multi award-winning playwright Philip Stokes, recognised by the British Library as a Culturally Important Playwright of the 21st Century, and Olivier, TONY and EMMY award-winning producer Richard Jordan. Contains strong language, adult themes, depictions of drug use and themes of suicide.

ArtsCentreTheatre (ACT)

WEDNESDAY 8 NOVEMBER -

SATURDAY 11 NOVEMBER

7.30PM

ArtsCentreTheatre (ACT) presents an evening of original duologues written, directed and performed by members of the group – set on one (or more) of three stages measuring eight feet by twelve feet. One stage has two chairs and a square table upon it, the second has a double bed and the third has no furniture at all. These pieces are so new that, as we go to press, they are still in the process of being written, but it is already clear that there will be comedy, there will be tragedy and there will be everything in between.

Some of these pieces will also be performed later in the month in the Jersey Eisteddfod continuing ACT’s decade-long participation in Jersey’s annual festival of the arts.

This production will include adult subject matter and strong language. Jersey Arts Centre will update its website with specific trigger warnings when the final selection of scripts has been made.

Suitable for 16 years + £15 (£11 STUDENTS)

MEMBERS: £12.75 (£9.35 STUDENTS)
