Travel Tip: Upgrade or Play Musical Chairs Try to get the flight attended to upgrade you once you board the plane. This used to be easier than it is today due to the high number of upgrades required by the frequent flyer participants. Offer to have a coach meal. The airline may not have boarded extra First Class meals because the seats were empty. Just because you are assigned a seat, doesn’t mean you have to sit in it. The moment the door of the plane is closed, seek out a more desirable seat and move to it. Make your move quickly though. Others are making the same plans. Please return your seat to its upright and most uncomfortable position.
