“I have to admit, when I started with this project, I thought it’d be easy. Ha! I began designing garments based on what I thought people wanted instead of what I wanted. It took some time before I realized that I had to be my own inspiration. If I made clothes I believed in and that made me feel good, other people would find it and connect with me and my line.” “This is when I began to question: what does Donna use every day? In what clothes do I feel the most comfortable? I took one look at my closet and quickly realized that it was all basics: jeans and monochromatic T-shirts. I saw trendy pieces I once loved but now shoved to the back, never to be worn again.”

This was her aha moment! She wears basics but her style isn’t. She appreciates garments that are timeless and last for years. She strongly believes everything we put on should be of the utmost quality.

Donna’s mission as a designer is to make people look good and feel good about themselves with minimal effort. She creates casual pieces that have been exquisitely designed and seamlessly executed.

Donna jumped head first into the world of fashion with this line. She’s surrounded by talented professionals with whom she is very fortunate to collaborate with on Seventytwo°.

For Donna, this has been a beautiful process of inner exploration, one that has truly encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone, to have conviction in what she wants and keep doing it for the rest of her life. This has pushed her to become not only a very decisive person, but a very flexible one. Everything stems back to the core of Seventytwo°, which is much more than just a clothing brand. The intention and mission of the brand is to bring forth comfort, so you can look good and feel good.

About her designs, Donna confidently says, “I hope my message and our collective good vibes reflect in these collections because they come from someone that is just like you: someone who wants to live a life filled with good feelings”.
