Sookie is summoned to work at Eric’s vampire bar, Fangtasia, for the night, only to find herself in the middle of a centuries-old conflict. Remus, an ancient enemy of Eric’s, is seeking retribution for the death of his “nest” at Eric’s hand, targeting the members of Eric’s own nest, including Sookie.
