Department Centennial Pistol Financial Assistance, Child Welfare Fund and the Disaster Relief Fund are all based around families with children in the household. He said this fund is a crucial gap in the assistance program that must be filled. “We had to turn away a number of veterans during this last holiday season with nowhere else to go,” said Miller.
