VOTING RULES Time to Vote!: June 1-June 30 Wings at Work: The Birds, the Bees...and the Butterflies, too!

A focus online photo contest.

This focus online photo contest features photos illustrating native plants and pollinators, whose protection is a stated goal of “Sustainable Agriculture, Seed Diversity, and Food Security”, one of the nine GCA Position Papers on public policy issues written by the Conservation and National Affairs and Legislation Committees.

1. You may vote once!

2. A photographer may not disclose the identity of her/his image to anyone and no one should attempt to influence voting on their or another’s behalf.

3. All voting will be merit-based and confidential. The Committee will observe the same confidentiality.

5. There will be three special awards:

• The focus Contest Creativity Award – voted on the basis of creative and technical excellence and acknowledging innovation, uniqueness and imagination.

• The focus Best in Show – awarded to the image receiving the most votes in the entire show.

• The focus Editors’ Choice Award - the photograph that, in the focus editors’ opinion, is the most deserving.

6. Judging closes on June 30, 2018.

7. Winning images will be published in the September issue of focus.
