Sitting Bull Falls (54 miles)- is a series of waterfalls located in a canyon in the Lincoln National Forest southwest of the city of Carlsbad, New Mexico. The United States Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service maintains a popular recreation area for day use at the location of the falls.

Balzano’s Family Vineyard, Farm and Pumpkin Patch -17 miles south of Artesia.

Eagle Draw-A beautiful 3.2 mile (perfect 5k) paved walking trail in the heart of Artesia. Includes a “Story walk” for added family fun, as well as a variety of workout equipment along the way.
